Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Tuesday’s (April 9) episode that is now available to view on Channel 4 streaming. The episode in question will air on E4 on Wednesday April 10 at 7pm.
Murphy (Rick S Carr), one of Warren Fox’s (Jamie Lomas) heavies, was left fighting for his life after Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) accidentally pulled the trigger of a gun during a scuffle.
The thug broke into Harcourt hall in a bid to get his hands on the recording that Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) obtained of Warren confessing to pushing Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) from a rooftop.
Warren enlisted Murphy’s help after Ste informed him of what Sienna had done and, in a bid to teach Ste a lesson, the hard-man instructed Ste to accompany Murphy in his retrieval mission.
Sienna, meanwhile, suspected that she was being watched and her theory proved correct when masked Murphy walked out of the shadows, holding her, Dilly Harcourt (Emma Johnsey-Smith), Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart) and Maxine at gunpoint.
Dilly made a run for it but she was stopped in her tracks by the other masked man, who was Ste.
Maxine, meanwhile, attempted to wrestle Murphy to the floor and get her hands on the gun but, in a shocking twist, the weapon went off, firing a shot.
Murphy’s body became lifeless as maxine feared she’d taken a life. Ste, meanwhile, faced the wrath of Sienna for bringing the masked man into her home, desperately wanting answers.
The bigger question, however, is: is Murphy dead?
That would be a no – well, at least not yet as spoilers for next week confirm that Ste is tasked by Warren with eliminating the heavy from the picture. But will Ste do as Warren has ordered?
