Six teenagers accused of carrying out a transphobic attack will face a court trial next January.

The alleged victim, a transgender girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, suffered stab wounds after being attacked in Harrow, north west London, on February 10, at a rollerskating party.

Summer Betts-Ramsey, 19, Shiloh Hindes, 18, a 16-year-old girl and three boys, one aged 16 and two aged 17, appeared at the Old Bailey today.

They are all charged with attempted murder and causing her grievous bodily harm with intent.

All but one of the defendants appeared in court by video link and spoke only to confirm their identities.

Betts-Ramsey is also accused of having a knife on the same day.

One of the 17-year-old boys is charged with disclosing a private sexual photograph or film of the victim on or before January 29 with intent to cause her distress.

The boy is charged with threatening her with a blade in a private place on the same day.

The 16-year-old girl is accused of also having cannabis on her on February 28.

A trial will take place at the Old Bailey from January 24 2025 and will last six to eight weeks.

An adjourned plea and case management hearing for June 3 and a further hearing on April 12 has been set.
