Kylie Jenner’s latest Khy drop has been torn apart by some fans, who brutally compared one item to a diaper.
The Lip Kit mogul took a step into the world of fashion last year, launching her clothing brand in November.
Since then, the 26-year-old has released a string of drops, showcasing everything from faux leather trench coats and fleeced shorts to a denim line with a selection of different jeans.
However, her upcoming seventh drop raised eyebrows from followers who weren’t quite impressed with her take on a bubble skirt.
Taking to Instagram, she could be seen modelling a white low rise Poplin bubble mini skirt paired with a collared zip up shirt – which will cost $52 and $58 respectively once the collection is released.
In fact, some went so far as to compare it to an adult nappy in the comments section below.
Leighhahn2004 took the opportunity to question: ‘Is that a big girl form of a diaper?’
‘Shorts look like a big ol diaper [sic],’ Purplepanda721 laughed.
All_love_soaps agreed: ‘She has a diaper on y’all.’
As Kyw26 added: ‘I’m ok with not wearing a diaper.’
Following on from her hugely popular cosmetics line, Kylie announced that she would be dipping her toe in fashion last year, with the launch of Khy.
However, she decided to tackle the industry with a twist, dropping a limited collaboration every few weeks, which consists of collaborative pieces with different designers.
The outfits have been all over TikTok in the last few months, with fashionable folk clamoring for every single item.
Since the debut, the mom-of-two has worked with Namilia and Natasha Zinko, and has no plans to stop anytime soon.
‘I want to see who’s doing cool things and specializes in a specific look,’ she told People Magazine. ‘Then I think about creating pieces that would be interesting to the Khy audience, but staying true to the designer throughout the whole process.
‘We then focus on design details and a high quality product that we know our customers will love.’
‘I do like to try on every prototype we create and make sure it has a great fit and feel. I only want to put out designs that I actually love and want to wear, so it’s really important for me to test out every piece firsthand and make sure it’s perfect.’
‘Khy has been such an amazing outlet for creative expression. It’s so special to me to be able to conceptualize collections and put them out into the world,’ she added. ‘We have some exciting drops coming up that I can’t wait to share!’
