Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) and Mark Fowler Jr (Stephen Aaron-Sipple) succumbed to their desires in EastEnders, branding the experience a one off since they’d never see each other again.
Or so they thought.
Mark, as viewers know, was asked to leave Walford earlier in the year by Lauren, who worried that his presence would lead to her cheating on husband Peter Beale (Thomas Law).
To say Lauren was shocked when she set her sights upon him once more is a bit of an understatement! She reiterated that nothing could happen between them – but when Peter publicly took mum Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) side over her’s in a brawl, she decided to throw caution to the wind, sleeping with Mark at the Boxing Den.
And they say romance is dead!

With Lauren and Mark having finally given into temptation, will the cold light of day make them regret their actions? It seems so, with Lauren firm as she makes it clear what happened between them can simply never happen again.
But as Mark prepares to wave goodbye, Lauren finds herself torn.
Following their falling out, tensions remain rife for her and Peter. Peter, however, is keen to give Lauren more excitement and agrees to be more spontaneous.
The question is: will Mark really leave the Square?
And what about Cindy? Will she be able to get past Lauren knowing about Max’s (Jake Wood) infidelity and keeping shtum?
Elsewhere, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) is upset that Denise Fox’s (Diane Parish) potential donor still hasn’t come forward for testing. Jack reckons it’s Darnell and thus confronts him. Darnell admits he’s a match – but reveals his fears. Denise is accepting of his decision – but Jack is less so.
Ash Panesar (Sakira Vel) has a heart-to-heart with Vinny (Shiv Jalota) while Suki Panesar-Unwin(Balvinder Sopal) attempts to build a relationship with her estranged daughter. Little does she know, however, that Ash hasn’t actually forgiven her.
Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) agrees to help Ned Hawkins (Jamie Bamber) in tracking done a business associate who may be able to help solve the Hawkins’ money woes.
But will their plot prove successful?
